Our Story

We're a U.S. based organization, proudly rooted in Rochester, NY, a city of invention, hard work, and community spirit. Our journey began with countless evenings spent volunteering in local nonprofits. We saw firsthand how missions were hampered by everyday friction: data scattered across spreadsheets and outdated tools, time lost to manual follow-ups, and information slipping through the cracks. While volunteers often stitched together temporary solutions, we knew there had to be a better way.

We built the tool we wished we had.

Karpura grew out of our desire for a single, powerful platform that respects the time and goodwill of volunteers. Our core team is made up of dedicated professionals who are also active volunteers.
